Farmers & equine owners – Do you have your Manure Management Plan in place?
If not, join the Westmoreland County Conservation District at one of these workshops to write your Manure Management Plan for your farm. A manure management plan is required on every farm. Farmers are required to have a written record of how manure is managed. It does not have to be turned in to anyone for approval, but it needs to be in an approved format that will be supplied at the workshop. For most farms, it will be 12 pages or less.
