Indian Creek Watershed Festival

Join us for the Indian Creek Watershed Festival on Saturday September 23, 2017. Once again MWA will be hosting our annual Children’s Fishing Event and Duck Race at Resh Park in Indian Head, PA from 10:00-2:00. This year we will also be featuring craft show with local artisan goods and products.

For the Children’s Fishing Event we will be stocking approximately 300 trout the morning of the event. The fishing event is free of charge and includes lunch.  Children up to and including 12 years of age are welcome to participate with adult supervision.  Please bring your own rod and tackle.

The Duck Race will be held 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 each with two chances to win per ticket! Must be at least 18 years of age to purchase. Ticket holder need not be present to win. Proceeds from the Duck Race benefit the Children’s fishing activities. Cash Prizes Include: 1st Place— $500, 2nd Place—$250, 3rd Place —$150, 4th Place—$100, Last Duck—$50.

Duck Race tickets are available at our office, G&D Market and Shari Bukovac Bookeeping in Melcroft, Miller’s Grocery and B&G Bait and Sport Shop in Normalville, the Indian Creek Valley Water Authority and LHTC in Indian Head, Brenda’s Restaurant, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park, and the Springfield Township Office in Mill Run, and the Silver Horse Coffee Shop in Donegal.

The craft show will feature crafts and products from local artists and vendors. To become a vendor at this year’s event, please fill out and send in a Vendor’s Form.

We are happy to host the following Event Vendors- Baked Goods by Kae Kovalchik, Ashley Dillinger with Avon, Samantha Shaffer with “Thirty-one,” Handmade Crafts with Tammy Ainsley & Friends, and Laurel Highlands Total Communication.
